Petsitting today, and my big floofy dog friends aren't eager to go out in the steady rain, even for a bathroom break. Nonetheless they did their thing and are now back inside, their super-thick coats having done a great job of keeping the rain off their skin. For anyone new here, this is Ares. A dog who will only bark at those who are non-threatening and who will absolutely cave in the moment you show him the slightest resistance. He let himself get beaten up by other dogs a few times.

Sasha had her first “husky blowout” today, and her first legit bath at age 6-1/2. She survived the ordeal, and no longer looks like a mangy coyote. Odie has a double coat, too, but nothing like a husky’s. IFKYK. #dogsOfMastodon #thursDog
