  1. I didn't sleep tonight. My table is a mess with wires, bolts, and circuit boards. And finally, I cleaned one more piece of hardware from spying on me. I moved my Tapo C210 to Thingino firmware!
I have some problems with the stream for now (rvd stops on boot) and the motors do not work, but I think it's fixable. I receive video and audio, can turn on the LED, and can use the speakers!!

  4. @[email protected] Those feeds and repos seem focused on video output from OpenWRT. SDL2, Vulkan, QT5, Cairo... all GUI related frameworks and drivers. EDID is even in there to detect monitor capabilities.

I'm asking about the video capture side of IP cameras. Between my Neos, Ubiquiti, Tapo and Dahua cameras, only the Neos have an alternative firmware at the moment,
#thingino, and the Tapo (C210) may be replaceable courtesy of #openipc.

    All are feeding into
#frigate at the moment so viewing the output is not an issue.

    The hunt continues.

  7. I think my desire for a #openwrt style generic firmware for IP cameras has been partially answered by #thingino :-)

Have just reflashed two Neos Smartcams, aka Wyse Cam 2, Xiaomi iSC5, Atom Cam 1. Got them dirt cheap on eBay since Neos shut down their UK operations in November, and they were 'streaming only'
