I was sitting here checking the notes and counting the full days from the first eggs that were put under the broody hen and figured it was 20 days 2.5 hours. Then I looked at the camera took a screen shot and noticed the spot I was looking at was nothing but there's another egg pipped! It is one of the eggs that was under the hen for about 18 days I guess. This chick is also starting to zip the egg as I type this.

If you're wondering, yes, too many eggs have made it to the final round. Left half is also a day or so earlier than the right half, I put a 'fence' in there.

I candled eggs, 4 with movement, 3 others looked ok, 5 others sorta looked ok, and maybe 5 duds. The thing is, the 4 with movement were all eggs pulled from the refrigerator and 1 or 2 of those 3 days in there. 🤣 That's no turning or rocking and under cold conditions. Maybe these chickens of the north eggs like some cold time before mama warms them up.
