Neuerdings beschäftige ich mich musikalisch immer eine Woche lang mehr oder weniger mit einem Album, um damit an meine Jugendzeit anzuknüpfen, wo ich mir im Monat bestenfalls zwei neue Platten kaufen konnte und damit entsprechend viel Zeit verbrachte. Album der vergangenen Woche war "Vaudeville 8:45" der Band "The Trackers". Hauptakteure: die Jazzmusiker Gary Husband (dr, key) und Alf Terje Hana (git, key), das Album ist ein Jazzrock-Fusion-Feuerwerk. #rocknroll #thetrackers #albumderwoche

Attended an interview and reading from Charles Frazier tonight. Pretty great.
The question I didn't get a chance to ask him was: "What the heck is it like to win the National Book Award?" (For Cold Mountain in 1997 or 98.) That had to be knee-wobblingly great.
