Day 18:I've always been interested in the history of the #BritishIsles. Today, I'm recommending a historical novel, the first of #TheSaxonStories, #TheLastKingdom.
It is set at the end of the 9th century and follows the rise + reign of #KingÆlfredTheGreat of the West + then the #AngloSaxons.
