I received my order from Adafruit with a small 80mm fan to plug into my Pi Zero 2W to keep things nice and cool in the case I printed. I also added a small heat sink on the processor chip.
The biggest thing that the new case allows for is better heat transfer, as the original case I had printed had no vents to the outside air 🤦🏻♂️🤣

The systems will use phase change materials (PCMs) to store and release heat according to the battery's temperature. The systems will improve the battery's performance, safety and lifespan and reduce the need for active cooling.
