I've successfully made it from Overton Hill to Ivanhoe Beacon, the full length of #TheRidgeWay at 139km.
It started with two 35km walks in 30°C, and this last walk was a lovely 25km one with all the #AutumnColours, mostly with sunshine.

This is a memorial to Brigadier General Robert James Loyd-Lindsay, 1st Baron Wantage (1832-1901; VC, KCB, VD) that I stopped at on #TheRidgeway today.
It was utterly out of place - a strange oddity at the top of a field.
He looks to have been an interesting chap (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Loyd-Lindsay,_1st_Baron_Wantage), but coming across this weathered totem really put me in mind of #Ozymandias:
"Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away." -
And I'm done: 25km of #TheRidgeway from Goring to Court Hill. I'm spent. #ukhiking #hiking #England #countryside
