It’s a #difficult time this #holiday #season. Not just for us but I see it in others.
My cousins are starting to experience more on our mutual side of the family of the degree of fucked up #conspiracy #theories, #Trumpsters, #MAGAts. It’s sad but it’s also something you have to move to a safe distance to mourn.
More directly for me, I have a #parent who is getting absorbed into a new role, quickly, as a parent and a #matriarch of a #family that she’s always wanted and no idea if it’s a good idea or good fit for her. I pray that she is happy and not setting herself or those other participants up for #heartbreak later or even further #physchological and #spiritial #damage.
#undealt with old family #wrongs. This people refuse to #acknowledge or #apologize for. It’s #difficult. It’s #messy. It’s downright fucking #insane sometimes and #catastrophically #costly to #mental #health and #wellbeing.
Find someone around you that you can #unpack with. Go only if you feel you’re confident you can #endure or have a solid #escape #route or #disengagement #strategy.
Find your #allies.

New images from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (#JWST) reveal for the first time #galaxies with #stellar bars — elongated features of stars stretching from the centers of galaxies into their outer disks — at a time when the #universe was a mere 25% of its present age. The finding of so-called barred galaxies, similar to our #MilkyWay, this early in the universe will require #astrophysicists to refine their #theories of galaxy #evolution.
