Seven Seas Announces Audiobook License for Fantasy Danmei THE HUSKY AND HIS WHITE CAT SHIZUN
Just finished reading the third volume of “The Husky and his White Cat Shizun” 🌸 Although this volume began with a very unsettling scene, most of it was a very touching journey where Mo Ran goes to get Chu Wanning’s souls. It was nice to see there relationship progressing.
Will now continue with volume 4 and hope for more sugar than bitterness in the future …
Just finished chapter 68 in volume 2 of "The Husky and his White Cat Shizun" 🌸 The vision sequence where Mo Ran and Chu Wanning step into a historical situation to be tested is unfolding. The tale of Chu Wanning's ancestors is quite sad, but what resonates most is that humans are shown to be more horrific in their betrayal of each other than any ghost.
This may be a tale of ghosts but the betrayal is all too real.
Just finished volume 1 of "The Husky and his White Cat Shizun" 🌸 The ending scene with Heart Pluck Willow's illusion allows Chu Wanning to confess but with Mo Ran thinking that he is Shi Mei is very romantic in a sad way.
Such scenes where characters react to each other, based on their personalities & their conflicted loyalities work well. The setting is not at all real, but the pain of miscommunication is more than real. It is all over real life.
Just finished chapter 12 of volume one of "The Husky and his White Cat Shizun" 🌸 Mo Ran has had an encounter with Chu Wanning in an illusion. He clearly crosses the boundary and his slapped silly for it but there is a sense that there is something there.
The scene is problematic given that Mo Ran doesn't understand how to respect others until he is physically forced to stop but then again he is stopped.
Obviously, it is a requirement own a white calico cat when reading "The Husky and his White Cat Shizun" 😺
Just finished the first chapter and it's dark! I think it will take a while to get my bearings but I get the sense that this series will reward persistance...
My next read will be "The Husky and his White Cat Shizun" 🌸 Apparently, the plot is not nearly as cutesy as the title would imply... But I have four volumes of this series so it should keep me busy for a while.
I am enjoying my return to reading for leisure. I haven't been taking the time to read for myself and I was beginning to feel that my attention span was shortening with digital media use. Now I can focus for longer again.
So... about erha. I will write/share quotes when I have time.
The most important is that I really like and recommend this book!
I love all character dynamics!
As for a main couple:
Mo Ran being dumb AF also in denial is gold :blobRofl:
Chu Wanning trying his best to be good teacher with some unexpected problems is precious 😁
I am very happy that I finally decided to read this book!
So... after reading tgcf volume 6... I finally started erha (because apparently I hate myself 😂)
I have one problem with that book. I mean I know huskies can be a bit silly but they are still very intelligent doggos. Smart creatures.
Mo Ran is dumb as rock! 🤣
I really love the book tho. I somehow read it much faster than most books (it's probably author's style thing because it was similar with Yuwu for me).
“hero..? it's impossible for me to become one now. there's no hero that carries such heavy burden on their life.”
願蒙垂憐，得有家歸。
