Okay I’ll bite.
Chu Wanning and Shen Qingqiu sitting on a low table across each other drinking tea. None of them talk, the conversation is happening with their eyes.
Meanwhile, Mo Ran and Luo Binghe are in the kitchen preparing their Shizun‘s meal according to their taste. Luo Binghe is lowkey scandalized by the amount of desserts Mo Ran has prepared.
But if I’m being honest, I want CW and SQQ to have beef with each other that they never address directly. It obviously has to do with their disciples because they each think theirs is the best at everything they do. So they would make “requests” as a form of secret challenge to see who disciple does it perfectly, but it’s nuance because they each have a different notion of what perfect looks like.
In the end they come to the conclusion they both have the best dogs disciples.

I got my girlfriend volume 1 of the Erha audiobook for her birthday and she’s listening to it now!!! :blobcheer: :ablobcatbongo: :elmo_fire:
She’s the kind of reader who listens to a book multiple times and hones in on little details, which she then starts intensely analytical conversations about. 💚 I’ve thus started rereading Erha in my own defence. Rather, I’m reading the 7S official translation for the first time. For a couple of years, I’ve been trapped in the dilemma of wanting to revisit the section of the fantl that was only available as MTL when I read it, but not super wanting to reread the first 4/5 of the story before that. (I’m not much of a rereader: vita brevis, TBR longa.)

I read again last night and now less than 80 pages is left of ERHA volume 3.
I'll probably finish it today.
Volume 4 will be released in December.
What would I do until then?😭 -
So... about erha. I will write/share quotes when I have time.
The most important is that I really like and recommend this book!
I love all character dynamics!
As for a main couple:
Mo Ran being dumb AF also in denial is gold :blobRofl:
Chu Wanning trying his best to be good teacher with some unexpected problems is precious 😁
I am very happy that I finally decided to read this book!

From danmei books I own Thousand Autumns is definitely hardest/slowest to read for me.
Political plot is too complicated to read fast but too important overall for world building to just skim over and ignore.
I love the book tho, especially Yan Wushi being... himself 😂
On the other hand, ERHA is amazingly easy to read. Shorter chapters help. Not only I have a lot of good places to take a break but also it totally causes "One More Chapter Syndrome" ❤️ 🥰

So... after reading tgcf volume 6... I finally started erha (because apparently I hate myself 😂)
I have one problem with that book. I mean I know huskies can be a bit silly but they are still very intelligent doggos. Smart creatures.
Mo Ran is dumb as rock! 🤣
I really love the book tho. I somehow read it much faster than most books (it's probably author's style thing because it was similar with Yuwu for me).

1) TGCF volume 6 is waiting for me to be finished and I'm stalling (ORIGINAL VOLUME 4 is here and I'm not ready to read it for a second time yet) 😭
2) Two first volumes of ERHA are waiting for me to be in THE MOOD™️
3) Local bookstore just informed me I can go and pick up Thousand Autumns VOLUME 2.
4) Therapy Game: Restart VOLUME 1 is coming this week.
5) My visual novel backlog is... SOMETHING...
6) It is too hot to even exist...
