@WCOW Sure, I get that bit of character bio. But what led her to law, and those areas of it about protecting the underdog, in the first place?
She’s not a comfortable corporate lawyer, she’s a white knight, no matter the cost of stretching herself too thin, or not having much professional detachment.

@WCOW Maybe Carol’s entry in the cast list is in invisible spectral ink?

I hesitate to crap on Anna as she’s broken under a lifetime of Awful Carol putting her second-best to Richard, then pushing her away in favour of Alan, spite-dying to avoid her, and now being malicious from the Beyond.

Is Carol not the reason Anna hates domestic controlling behaviour?

#theArchers

@WCOW Surely Carol leaping into WCOW for a first posthumous award?

Eddie setting himself up for the worst character of the week.

@lesleypresley.bsky.social That’s a good idea. #theArchers

As I can’t see it being feasible that Fallon or Harrison remain in the marital home in the longer term it would have to go on the market. It would upset the (cider) apple cart if Amber’s dad bought Fallon and Harrison’s cottage for Amber and George. #TheArchers

I'm sensing a dark storyline with George & Amber & Baby coming up.
Don't know if it'll be post-natal depression or infant death, or something else.

It's probably just me catastrophising.

What is the age difference between Pip and Stella?

A name for Baby Grundy ep 374. Apple.
This will celebrate the Cider Club and Amber will want to follow in footsteps of Paltrow/Martin.

@WCOW You mentioned Kate in the toot but left her out of the poll, so my vote for "anyone I missed" goes to her. #TheArchers

Call the Midwife sound department has crashed into the Archers.

Some candidates for worst character of the week between Natasha and Stella.

Wedding guest lists can bring out the worst of us.

@WCOW @thearchers Still going with Carol, as Anna will now always be stuck with the memory of her nastiness, while Carol gets sanctified.

Whereas Lily can always cut Uncle Hypocrite down to size next week.

@snailman @Malwen @HarrietMonkhouse Ooh, there’s a thought.
Alan can christen it by ringing a nunc dimittis.
