We are winning the war against Trumpism amongst his most devoted, using our most lethal weapon to change their devotion -- Trump himself.
I listened to two ultra MAGA talk the other day, both elderly, both white working class, high school educated, rural: one extolling the greatness of Lindsey Graham "No one has anything bad to say about him, ever" and her devotion to FOX news which she watches all day and night... she prompted the other to share her devotion to FOX, a man who famously wore a MAGA cap, flew a MAGA flag, gloated about Trump, and sneered about Trump vengeance coming to his foes. He refused to engage by insisting "I don't watch tv no more, only the (local) news and weather. I'm done with politics. They're all liars." #ThanksTrump
Trump is Trump's worst enemy. We never had the power to change their minds. But he has, and does, and the more he keeps talking, the more he turns his own base away.
But we need to be ready, to offer a radically different alternative, back to a just and equitable America, of, by, and for (#OBF) #thePeoplenotthePowerful.
And this reminder: Justice is not the same as forgiveness, justice is accountability.

#Australian #primeminister Anthony Albanese just gave a national address to ensure #Aussies that the #middleeast #crisis is kinda bad but hey, "the Australian way" will fix it.
They cut the #fuel excise in half (we paid ~AUD$80 for some 27L of #diesel the other day) & eliminated the heavy vehicle tax for truckies for 3 mths.
He also ominously said that Aussies should "take the train or bus more often" - which after 10+ yrs in this country, is setting off alarm bells for me.

Three weeks ago: Russian oil tankers are attacked and boarded by military forces for breaking the embargo.
Now: Russian tankers can almost expect to be given military escorts by the same forces to arrive safely at their destinations.

Just got a go to move an internal project away from a #US #cloud provider to a #European one as a pilot. Have an external customer lined up for a similar migration this year and will migrate my personal stuff when (if) I get some free time.
Entirely happy with the existing cloud provider (which we have been with for 7 or so years), just not their government. I guess they can thank their business-man president for loss of business. #ThanksTrump #Thrump -
