#30DayMapChallenge Day 8: Utopia
Runway to Neighbourhood ✈️➡️🏡
What if Rotterdam The Hague Airport (220 ha) became a green neighbourhood? @ProgressiefNederland, now the largest party in Rotterdam, wants ~10,000 homes there; VVD and CDA want to keep the airport.
My utopia: mixed and social housing, a park with water along the old runway and a new lake. Generated with the #TerraLab AI Edit plugin in #QGIS, compared with PDOK aerial photo and #OpenStreetMap.
