I started supporting the treasurer of an association I am a member of and would like to change in the near future from #QuickBooks to a #FOSS alternative. As of now, there are no tools for managing members, filesharing, documentation etc. Getting a #nextcloud is already planned, but since I am not familiar with solutions for #accounting, managing members etc. I would love to her about your experiences with tools as #Akaunting, #OpenPetra, #CiviCRM and #Tendenci. #NGO #nonprofit_organization

I'm considering to give the #OpenSource #Tendenci association/constituents management system a try for our club. That should also eliminate needs for the Wordpress web site, Mailchimp subscription and much more.
Any comments from others on this plan? Experiences? Alternatives?

🌟 Exciting News in Event Management for #tendenci! 🌟
We're thrilled to announce the latest features and improvements in Tendenci's #EventManagement ! 🎉✨ Please read: https://www.tendenci.com/help-files/event-management-new-features-and-improvements/ -
@sjmcquay @blub We're effectively wanting a system where we can create customisable user profiles for our members and track renewals so we have a better idea of our membership. Being able to collect donations would be cool.
It feels like #CiviCRM is a bit heavy for this, we don't need to have e.g. a casework queue to assign tasks to various users, for instance. That's why #Admidio is particularly interesting to us.
The other thing we're looking at is #Tendenci, https://www.tendenci.com/ but I'd love to not host Python if possible.
