Goed om te weten voor mensen die IOT zaken proberen te koppelen aan een Telenet router:
Blijkbaar zet 2,4 gHz niet meer aan.
Waardoor vele smart home toestellen niet willen werken aangezien die meestal op 2,4 werken.Ik heb anderhalf uur verspilt tot ik het opeens door had.
(Aangezien #Telenet en #Ziggo meestal zaken van elkaar kopiëren tag ik die ook even)

Je moet toegeven dat ze bij #Telenet geniale manieren blijven vinden om naast de jaarlijkse #prijsverhoging ook tussentijdse #prijsstijgingen te realiseren! En ze komen er elke keer mee weg: zowat iedereen blijft gewoon gewillig #betalen 😂.

Oh nice, our TV has a setting that allows the manufacturer to generate a profile of your watch behavior and share that with TV channels for tailored ads. Of course it's enabled by default. I'm certain it was introduced by an update because I go through all the settings on new devices and turn that garbage off before I do anything else. #Telenet is such a terrible company, and they keep on getting worse.

Technician was supposed to fix it today.
Stopped in front of my door for 15 minutes, drove off again and later called me that my problem is in fact in the street and not my home.
Told him my problem is definitely in my home, then he said he did not have those tools with him to fix that.
What kind of *cable* technician doesn't have the tools to put a new connector on a coax cable??
Going to try again tomorrow 🙄

- Reliable internet connection
- Good customer service
- Local network setupWhat I get and don't want:
- Smart home Wi-Fi
- The 10000th app to see my home network
- Upselling gigabit connection
- Internet network setup that doesn't work when not connected to the internet (I can't change a stupid port forwarding rule because their site is broken)!!
- E-mail account to lock me into their system!! -

After trying to sign up for an account at my ISP for more than 10-times without success, dropping a few specific characters from my password, finally got me passed the 'Unknown error, please try again later' message that occurs several steps later in the registration process 🙃️. Even the customer service has no idea what causes the message and they cannot access their own systems 🤡️. Wow, I wonder what the back-end is of these accounts...
