If you ever want to see what the PlayStation 2 was *truly* capable of, check out Team Soho's The Getaway. This British crime drama, almost an interactive movie, uses photo-realistic assets and a seemingly 1-to-1 recreation of London to tell a gritty revenge tale.
Keep in mind that the PS2 has no hard drive. All the data is being streamed IN REAL TIME from the (slow) DVD drive.
