It's interesting that I heard Matt Keenan on a podcast say that their commentary ( Matt, Robbie and Phil) is continuous as they are creating the #TDU world feed. 7Plus obviously elects to take less than 50% of that with all It's interviews, promos, and long ad breaks 😳

Echunga's main claim to fame is it's excellent Irish cafe The Plough.

It's about the only cafe in the Hills I occasionally go to.

They keep talking up the beautiful hills and villages (!) of the Adelaide Hill, but it's mostly dusty little country towns and kilometres of brown paddock baking under sun in January.

I watch a lot of cycling races over the year. The coverage of the #TDU on 7Plus would hands down have to be the worst. It really is a glorified advertorial with a bit of cycling on the side.

We are enjoying the first stage of the #TDU bike race on Flo Bikes (with VPN). Perfect timing, as I need a distraction this week from US news. Good announcers (as compared to what we’ve had for cyclocross races IMO): Robbie McEwan, Anna Meares, Phil Liggett.

No real favorites of mine in the race, so I can just sit back & enjoy the start of the road season!
