Today, I am happy to announce that I am launching "Hey Gurgle", a search engine (of sorts) for the Marsupial Gurgle audio archive.

Searching for clips on the Marsupial Gurgle site has been a real pain point for many TBTL Tens and I'm hoping to fix that.
The audio clip search engine is available at https://search.marsupialgurgle.com
Also, because both heygorgle.com and heygurgle.com domains were available, I picked both up and they redirect to the main Hey Gurgle site.

Heh... whoops. I guess something borked with the web server configuration for Marsupial Gurgle and I didn't know about it until 15 minutes ago.

For the #TBTL Tens out there, I have installed the #ActivityPub plugin for the Marsupial Gurgle website. You can follow @linh to see when a new post goes up on the site and what-not.

So... whatever American Public Media is using to generate the RSS feeds for their podcasts isn't always generating the same GUID for an episode each time the feed is generated and/or fetched.
For instance, an episode of #TBTL on the feed may end up with a GUID for an episode of another APM podcast, like Brains On! or In The Dark.
That is causing the application think that's seeing a new entry for an episode that it really has already seen... thus duplicating posts.

Okay... need to figure out why the #TBTL feed parsing is getting some duplicate episode and post weirdness.

I have set up two new accounts:
@tbtl_podbot sends out a post when a new episode of #TBTL hits their RSS feed.
@waitwait_podbot sends out a post when a new episode of #WaitWaitDontTellMe hits their public RSS feed (including any bonus episodes)
