@clifff Real Estate will just be wrapping up a huge tour, I’m sure coordinating a short run as an opening act immediately after sounds like more trouble than it’s worth.
Not to mention, Taper’s Choice is kind enough to help us out with the gatekeeping; VW crowd is too normie for the Choice

kinda rude Vampire Weekend didn't give #TapersChoice the nod to open any of their shows
some pretty cool openers otherwise though - would love to catch Mike Gordon, Ra Ra Riot or Cults. Mark Ronson is very good too, that MSG show should be fun

Really enjoying the new Real Estate video, ( #TapersChoice side project), and love the Pete & Pete homage. In tune with the 90’s nostalgia trend in the best way, while also being a great song.
Looks like some extensive touring next year, definitely plan to catch them next April.

Shout out to @wook for the #TapersChoice 6/18/22 video! Had watched the 9/16/23 one before and enjoyed it but something about home fest advantage and a bigger stage does a lot for them.
Of particular note is their keyboardist Zach is VERY animated here and clearly having a great time. Sounds kind of familiar...

Gave up waiting for History of Taper’s Choice Volume 1 to drop on Spotify so I ponied up the $10 on Bandcamp.

Bleeker may be the greatest jamband songwriter we have. May not have the easy listening vocal styling of Rock Mitochondria, but show me a better modern day jamband lyricist.
