  1. Éliane Radigue (1932–2026). An extraordinary life. An extraordinary music.

I’ll be listening to her work for the rest of the week (and long after) to fill the house—to fill my heart—with the resonances of tomorrow.

Her music always was and always will be a soundscape of a time beyond the present time.

  2. I really dislike promoting my own music but this is an interesting one. Fourth world jams via max/msp improv. tape released by the excellent Chilean label nonlocal research, long sold out. it was conceived as a lost ethnographic archive of sorts. or a found tape of ethnographic library music.

  3. I'm reading a book titled Re-Sisters by Cosey Fanni Tutti about herself, Delia Derbyshire and Margery Kempe and became fairly enthralled yesterday by her descriptions of Delia (and Daphne Oram before her) working in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Cosey also describes her work on the soundtrack for a movie about Delia's life, and today I found that movie on archive.org in it's entirety. Part documentary, part fictional reenactment. Very worth a watch!
