DIY Tape Mate Update

Inspired by #LauraKampf work on my own version continues

Been wearing one of these off and on for a few days... It's so handy to be able to One Hand my tape measure.... to have that magnet where I can stick a drill/driver bit, a screw or a nail, or a pen/pencil if there's a magnetic clip.

All I need to do now, is decide if I want to inscribe something on the clip of mine. "SFH Inc" maybe.... Like on my #GTAOnline" character ,-)

Thanks again to my lovely Mrs for the surprise of the clips, and for running the sewing machine for me!

For those of you following along from home

A couple of months ago, using stuff I had around the house (If you have a system it isn't hoarding) I made a few Laura Kampf inspired Tape Mates. Until you've actually used one, I get it, it seems like a silly thing. Once you've used one however....

Well, my sweetie (She who runs the sewing machine for me too ) surprised me with a few buckle clips today! So, over the next day or two I'll be revisiting my design, probably starting from scratch, and remaking my own Tape Mates.

My lovely joined the cause and busted out the sewing machine to help me with my new #TapeMate adventures

This is a smaller tape measure, a nylon webbing (the previous one was cotton) and I've been wearing it for a couple of hours and already I much prefer it

Turns out, I have more tape measures than I thought... So they're each getting a #TapeMate

It's probably too late to go into production for Xmas 2025..... The ones I'm making rely on the user wearing a belt of some kind though.

Ok so, I suck at sewing at the best of times, especially hand sewing... But it works! And I'm very pleased with the results so far.

Aaaaand I have materials to make another, so improvements might even happen
