    I'm disappointed that the "historical building" excuse is being used for lack of full, equitable accessibility.

    Yes, ableism and inaccessibility are in our history. But we can change what we do. When we use "historical preservation" as an excuse, we ensure ableism and inaccessibility are preserved into our future as well. ☹️

    Why Australia's autism severity system fails

    Australia provides universal diabetes care but rations autism support through arbitrary classifications. My latest article uses the three-body problem from physics to explain why static severity levels cannot capture dynamic, complex human experiences.

    Key insight: Academic success ≠ reduced the need for support. It often comes at tremendous hidden costs.
