It's running a friendly fork of Mastodon called #GlitchSoc which gives us many nice features including Markdown posting, polls with more than 4 options, longer toots, and more. See https://glitch-soc.github.io/docs/ for details.

Today we published a new version of https://switching.software with too many updates to list. Check it out for the latest alternatives to proprietary software!

When the most privacy-respecting #search service is the least popular & mostly unheard of, it means the privacy advice sites are not doing their job. @joeligj12 E.g. #swiso still endorses #DuckDuckGo, even though there's a huge list of serious issues (http://techrights.org/2021/03/15/duckduckgo-in-2021/) while at the same time there are tens of better options that #SwitchingSoftware ignored.

@dpwiz @mxtthxw @FediFollows @switchingsoftware if "pack your stuff" & "walk away" is a metaphor for boycott #Cloudflare, that's indeed what I do. I boycott all of #MACFANG. But this is not about me; it's about #switchingSoftware, who is betraying their readers by lying to them about the openness of the #Cloudflare site that they endorse & by concealing the pitfalls which directly contradicts the #SWISO mission.
