Thought I'd do another #introduction.

I'm a linguist. My research combines #phonetics and conversation analysis. I'm interested in sounds we make while talking that aren't speech sounds, like clicks and swallows.

I'm also Director of the #Humanities Research Centre at York, which gives me the privilege of working with brilliant colleagues around the whole university.
