That LI-MA has issues sustaining itself is really upsetting. They have an incredibly well thought out institutional model that screams sustainability, a collection of thousands of works of media art and digital art they maintain and lend out for exhibitions, internationally recognized curatorial initiatives and preservation community events… if they can't make it then I don't know who can.

We decided to donate the award prize to LI-MA, who are currently in danger of having to close down because of funding cuts:
