it seems that all the image results for "Sci Fi 2026" are AI including the photos

My regular feed for poison is the BBC.
ProfTimWilson on YouTube interests me for his luvvie establishment but insighful analysis and wide knowledge.
I really don't like any analysis that I'm 100% in agreement with because it's an indicator that I'm just indulging my own mind.During my #SummerProject , I'm hoping to find some more pundits.

I shot a few photos around the Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway: https://www.sivertalmvik.no/blog/street-photography-at-the-royal-palace-in-oslo-a-mini-summer-project/

the weather meant I found some time to progress the #guitar project... side-bending is always a little stressful - but satisfying if nothing goes horribly wrong. #amateurluthier #summerproject

Child12a declared that they want to learn Python. “Will you teach me Dad?” — “Uncle @ehmatthes will teach you, I’ll help”. #SummerProject #Python

#AmateurLuthier Saturday... my #SummerProject (steel string acoustic) progresses slowly. Doing the top bracing which has a lot of influence on the final sound of the guitar. But I'm not really 100% on exactly how. I suspect I know too much about frequency analysis and not enough about guitars as most explanations generate more questions in my mind.

Last summer's #SummerProject finished enough to play. Its a baritone so tuned down about 5 semitones. It is very difficult to resist the temptation to get stuck into Jesus and Mary Chain/Sunn O))) territory but it does sound very nice with a cleaner sound. I've not done a whammy bar before - that is also difficult to resist 😃
Once I've played it in a bit I may post some sounds. 🎸

At this rate last summer's #SummerProject will get to double as next summer's #SummerProject - none of the bits n bobs are actually attached (including neck) - don't want to rush things... obviously 😃 It's a baritone riff on a Gretsch Astro-Jet and so the strange shaped upper bout and headstock are some of the more accurate aspects (the #Sputnik inlay is perhaps less true to the original). #AmateurLuthier

@pamelafox @charliermarsh gives me something to blog about at least 😜 #SummerProject

Sneaking in some time to catchup on #SummerProject despite it being autumn (not that you’d know today with the actually glorious #WellyOnAGoodDay conditions). It’s the headstock for what will be a baritone electric… based on a goofy 50s design - Astro-Jet…

We've been rushing trying to get the rafters up before the rain. Today, we failed. These are only temporarily screwed in and they haven't been notched yet, but it's raining and we wanted to get the tarp up.

We have waaaaallllllls.

Welcome to part 11 of the series on How to Fix a Hole in the Shed Floor. In this episode, we fix the hole in the #shed floor by adding a chandelier!
Added a plywood panel to hold the switch and things that need to be hung. Then I wired up the led lights so I can see on those dark winter nights. Ran the snow blower up and down the ramp a few times too. I plan to store as much as I can on dollies so I can move things easily around f I need to.

Oh I forgot to show a non-tarped picture of the floor.
We're rapidly running out of summer for this project. I guess we're going to get our money's worth out of that tarp.

Welcome to part 10 of the series on How to Fix a Hole in the Shed Floor. In this episode, we fix the hole in the #shed floor by adding doors to the new shed!
Next, I built up the doors, doors seem to take just as long as the shed to put together. It was the same way with the greenhouse. Day for the building, a day for the doors.
I did manage to lock myself out of the shed and figure out how to break into it so #AchievementUnlocked.

We have a floor! Insulated and rodent-proofed! Interrupted by yesterday's rain. #DIY #shed #summerProject

Welcome to part 9 of the series on How to Fix a Hole in the Shed Floor. In this episode, we fix the hole in the #shed floor with a new shed! Duh! Duh! Duuuuh!
After the floor had dried, we set out to put the shed together. The kt went together pretty easily but got to the point where the walls and roof were done before we had to call it a day.

Welcome to part 8 of the series on How to Fix a Hole in the Shed Floor. In this episode, we fix the hole in the #shed floor with some paint!
After the rain, I set about painting the floor of the shed. After a coat of paint, I wasn’t happy with the cracks in the plywood, so I ended up filling them with some filler and sanding the floor. I then put on a second coat of paint. It now looks better to me.

Welcome to part 7 of the series on How to Fix a Hole in the Shed Floor. In this episode, we fix the hole in the #shed floor with a golden screw -- ok it was a brown deck screw, but you get the idea!
In between the heat and rain this week I managed to get the deck and ramp framed, taped, and covered with the decking. Soon it will be time for the shed, but that should not take long at all as it’s a metal one, but for now, I think I am done with the woodwork.
