The application of leeches to mitigate the symptoms of air sickness is not well established in domestic air transport but is nevertheless infrequently practiced in California where suitable leeches are sourced from Lake Tahoe. This is curious because the leeches on the Nevada side of the lake are considered far more effective and plentiful yet their use is unheard-of at BVU, LAS nor RNO (however no data is available for EKO).

We have all tried to snatch a fruit fly out of the air in front of us, only to fail and see it slowly flying away nearby. This is because small flies like this have warp drive and can very briefly move at #warp 6 when threatened. You should persist though, because their dilithium crystals are tiny and you will quickly deplete them. These flies do not have shields; see also #fleas. -
The left-right #sock #QuantumEntaglement effect is unstable in the presence of a top-bottom spin field. This is, of course, why a sock may sometimes disappear entirely from the washing machine during the spin cycle, having annihilated somewhere between 1500 and 1680 rpm. The signature squealing pop of the event is a difficult signal to detect in the overwhelming motor noise without the use of sensitive lab equipment. Or a #cat.
