  1. There may be a #Sucker born every minute, but there's about 10 born every second that are #Lazy. There is nothing that you can't learn. Even without #AI. The first time I wrote a book about ending #homelessness, I had no AI and I wrote 80,000 meaningful words and published it in 48 days.

  6. #TIL: The term ‘to suck’ is not #vulgar!

I always assumed that ‘to suck’ in the connotation of ‘to be bad’, ‘to be mediocre’ etc had a sexual origin, namely that ‘He sucks!’ was originally short for ‘He sucks dicks!’

Nope, it’s totally harmless: it comes from sucking milk as a baby. If you are a #sucker or suck at something you are simply as naïve or inexperienced as a baby. 🤯

  18. "America's tech giants' #margins are now everyone else's #opportunity. The trillions that US tech companies extract could be someone else's billions – all they'd have to do is offer the #interoperable goods and services that disenshittify America's tech products. They could sell the tools that let anyone in the world use independent #appstores, or fix their cars and tractors, and put generic ink in their printers. A year ago, no country could afford to allow a company headquartered in its borders to get into this business, lest they be clobbered with tariffs. Today, any country that isn't thinking about this is a #sucker that will end up buying these tools from another country that gets there first."
