I've never had to replace the battery in this fob before, and boy howdy is it terribly designed for that. Almost like they wanted it to be more difficult than it needed to be. I wonder why they would do that?

I found an independent guy to work on my #Triumph which is good because the #TriumphMotorcycles #Stealership has a 200 to 400 mile monopoly in this part of the US (depending on where you live) and the owners are greedy bastards with terrible #CustomerService priorities. (And the monopoly *could* potentially be even more far-reaching for some people as the same owners own several across the western US). I had considered moving to a #HarleyPanAmerica just for more dealership #competition.

I hate how #Dealerships schedule appointments. It’s always just to drop off the vehicle, but never to do the work. For routine maintenance or simple repairs or recalls like software updates or anything slated for less than 1.5 hours of shop time - the appointment time should be the time the work is performed. Instead they set the time to drop the vehicle and it will sit in their lot for 6 hours before they start the work. It’s a major hassle. #stealership #AutoDealer #CarDealer #stealerships
