Apologies that the #StatsSky feed is acting finicky. I did some spam cleaning yesterday, but now it's dropping too many posts. I need to debug it, but the UI for that is rough (damn regex). Also there's no source control, so I'm always scared I'll irreparably break it.

Can someone explain to me what problem this solves? I thought Bayesian analyses were already in plenty of clinical trial papers. Was it previously discouraged? Or often misused? What behavior is expected to change because of this doc? #StatsSky

I’d love to hear from #statssky Patients were included in a one-arm trial based on blood pressure above a threshold and needing a pacemaker. Then, those who at the final follow up had blood pressure above another threshold were assigned active treatment, those below received SOC.

Did a big cleanup of spam in the #StatsSky feed. I'm thinking about removing the #stats and #statistics hashtags. Any thoughts?

The feed accepts a few other keywords beyond #stats, including #statistics, #StatsSky, and #statsmeme. Here's the current feed: bsky.app/profile/stev... And I'm working on expanding the list of accepted terms without increasing false positives (hopefully): bsky.app/profile/stev...
