This is why the public *correctly* does not trust public health and IPC. It's not an isolated incident, there's a pattern of concealing risk for COVID but also e.g. hospital TB outbreaks etc. Define "contact" to limit numbers, then don't test = don't find = "not our fault".

Interesting parallel here with the violence committed by institutional medical culture, with its embedded tone policing (and in particular rejection of anything resembling kicking upwards inside its toxic hierarchies) vs the expectation of challenge that is indispensable to science. #medsky #polisky
