@mzdravkov we've observed that in all runs, usually a few % of reads, sometimes over 10%. When you plot raw signals, you'll see strange stretches similar to homopolymer... we haven't observe anything like this in rna002, only in rna004.
my working hypothesis it that's because of helicase #stalling specific to new #RNA #helicase variant used in #rna004

We're taking a short trip today. I'd rather stay at home, so I'm already dragging my feet and nobody else has even gotten out of bed this morning. Do you ever do that when you don't want to do something that you know that you are going to have to do? Another way to describe it is slowing around, like if you procrastinate long enough the thing will go away. It won't work though; I know I must go to keep peace in the family. Hmmm ... did I just rhyme? My best delaying tactic is just not to do anything yet, be quiet as a mouse and let everyone else sleep through the morning.

As expected, I got a birthday message from the Information Access Office of BC today. (the deadline for them to respond was today) Due to having to consult a third party (I assume the Island Corridor Foundation and perhaps others) my FOI request has now been delayed to the maximum. Another 60 days. So I should expect a respond as late as February 9th.
I filed the request on June 28, 2023. Ridiculous. -
