  1. Old Vines/Wall/Flowers

Next to Velvia, my favorite color film is Kodak's Ektar. This is the last of this series. I'm going to be sharing some of my large format work next.

  4. Hey, it's #WaterfallWednesday! Here's a photo of a waterfall that I took. The waterfall is in Cooper's Rock State Park in West Virginia, and I took the photo with my 4x5 #Graflex #SpeedGraphic camera. This is a 16x20 gelatin silver print toned with sulfide toner.

Second photo is me using the same camera on top of a mountain in Alaska. It takes great photos, but it's heavy and bulky. The Graflex Speed Graphic: exactly how badly do you want to take that nature photo?

  5. Three palladium prints. Most of the black and white photos made during the twentieth century are gelatin silver prints; the dark parts of the image are made from grains of metallic silver suspended in a layer of gelatin that sits on the surface of a piece of paper. The palladium printing process is older, it had its heyday in the second half of the nineteenth century, along with a similar process based on platinum.
