The start to this #DrWho season, #TheRobotRevolution, was good fun with a bit of a 80s Dr Who vibe and a name that @viznut would appreciate.
It was let down by unnecessarily heavy handed delivery and a disappointing resolution, but if this was the new baseline, and we went up from here, I think we could be happy. A lot, lot better than #SpaceBabies at least.

#DoctorWho #DevilsChord was a lot better than #SpaceBabies and #Maestro was an absolutely delightful baddy with a delicious performance by #JinkxMonsoon. It's just a pity they didn't use the setting a bit more and honestly the plot was kind of razor thin.
So not yet stunning, but not painful to watch either.

Well........ #DrWho I just watched #SpaceBabies and I’ve to say it is (to me) the worst episode I've seen in years. Nonsense plot and yeah. Acting was dire too, I hate to say it but bring back a certain female Doctor.

Doctor Who is BACK! Again!
I loved the 3 specials we got a couple of months ago, it was exactly the kind of Chibnall-detox we needed, but actually having a new season of fresh Doctor Who is the real test.
Space Babies and The Devil's Chord are SO silly and smart that I am afraid it will scare away newcomers who came for something smart OR the silly. But it's both and I love it for it!
I'd give both episodes 7/10.
