"What stops you from changing that?" is a powerful question to ask when someone is rambling and getting lost in describing a problem. If you play it right, you might get a long rambling back with possible solutions. That's something you can work with. The whole discussion suddenly changes to something more positive. It needs a bit of experience to find the right moment to ask the question.

In times of online history rewriting through deleting data (not only in the US), the real heroes we should listen to are archivists and librarians. Feel free to use conspiracy theories to motivate more people to care about decentralised archives. I'll start:
"Guess why hard drives and SSDs suddenly became so much more expensive? ThEy wants to stop us from storing important things!1!!"
But seriously. Online archives are being removed left and right. We should save them. #SolutionsNotProblems

Everybody fears the death of the classic #cinema should #Netflix buy #Warner Bros. I see a big opportunity for a revival of local, small cinemas. Netflix (and Disney etc) could (be forced to) offer a subscription for such small cinemas once they've upgraded to digital projection. A subscription that allows them to screen Netflix and Warner Bros. movies/series as they please, depending on their target audience(s). Imagine the possibilities!

Somebody should explain to Mr. Trump that if the US joins the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice he can sue even more foreign media outlets. And spend more time in the lovely Netherlands, where his friends from to dutch royal family would be happy to welcome him. #SolutionsNotProblems
