A prompt for a scene with a costume fitting was a focus (edge: dedication) and action (lore) in which random adjectives helped set-up some history of where he is performing. Fun to draw Bruno with this baggy, musty, but beautiful costume.

Bruno is also is taking Troll steroids for his physical pain, but applies by smacking the area. Yes, the substance will eventually effect him which will make the game more interesting.

I start a game chapter with a downtime/introspective scene, usually using some oracle questions to get a feel how things are going. Here I asked how Bruno slept, which is badly. He also gets his lucky bandana back from the laundry.

Chapter 8 is Bruno learning his part as 'king of the hawks' to perform the same night at the park. My hero and his sidekick are always running late which makes for a more exciting game, but would be stressful in real life.

Bruno is an acrobat and aerialist and he will be the special guest star in a ballet "grandfathers streetcar." This took a while of sketching, but visualizing the swan theater makes it real. I won't draw it again in this amount of detail.

Chapter 7 was all about my character Bruno getting settled at the Tivoli Gardens inspired theme park in Denmark. This is a drawing of the VIP bungalows next to the park. I love the feeling of exploration with drawing and with rolling a dice.

It can be slow to play a #solorpg with lots of doodling, but it's worth it. Dealing with a bunch of stuff right now, and sitting down to continue the adventure even for 5 min makes my day.
So, here are some of my favorite pages in my journal.
