Finally got the #SpaceEmpires4X expansions from #gmtgames!

The good is that they look great, and I finally have them. All Good Things has just been released, but the other two have just been hard to find.

But...

Now got that unenviable decision of 'How much of this am I going to try to introduce at once?'

Thing is - this is primarily for #sologaming - and I don't know how many new rules will fit in my head at once.

I' just read "The Ink that Bleeds" by @PaulCzege about a play style for journaling games that invites greater participation from your subconscious.

A nice little game of Marvel Champions this evening, only just beat Spiral with Wolverine, at the last possible turn. The side-schemes were racking up, getting hard to keep track of what was going on!

Gave #5parsecs #bughunt a quick test tonight... and it doesn't seem too bad.

Currently 5 turns in... killed 9 zombies ...lost one militia member... not completed any of the objectives yet... and have only just cleared the lower level (with more zombies and several blips on the way) 😅

Seems OK though - and it will probably be better if/when I introduce a bit of a narrative to the scenarios - but yeah, I'll see if my brother want's to try it out co-op next weekend.
