  1. The latest update from SingPass makes it work with iOS26 beta 2!

  2. Those in #singapore who are thinking of trying out #ios26 beta please note that #SingPass is not working.

Some bank apps that I’ve tried that works:
    1. UOB
    2. Citibank

So don’t install on your main working phone if you want to try!

  3. Oh woah, the top scholars are so smart to have added a queue system to "prevent singpass from being overloaded"

I'm sure they are the first ones to come up with this idea... But 10-yr series don't have this question leh... How like that?

  4. The scariest thing I saw in China was... WeChat. No one app should have that much control and monopoly over one's daily life.

Many Western companies are trying to replicate WeChat's #superapp status but I really don't think it's a good idea. Trading that much control and privacy for convenience will only ever work in totalitarian or authoritarian states.

I think Singapore's #Singpass is fine as it doesn't cross the government / commercial boundary like WeChat does...

#STForum: Digitalisation push causing #seniors to be left out of CC events🇸🇬
"QR code registration is a complicated process for many – they may not know how to scan QR code, login using their #Singpass & input credit card details .. My mother said tt due to compulsory digital registration many of her elderly friends exclude themselves fr CC activities .. The push for #digitalisation .. should not come at a cost to #seniorcitizens’ independence & #dignity"

Have been thinking about this issue too, and I don't see how we can effectively prove we are humans through a software endpoint which is also available to a bot, unless we have a global/national complete record of humans identified with private/public keypairs.

AI is already capable of defeating our most creative CAPTCHAs.

These efforts are already existing in some countries. #Singapore #SingPass is actually this.
