@mikegalsworthy You can't re-join THE #Customs #Union without re-joining the #EuropeanUnion per se. You can, however, have A Customs Union between the #UK & the #EU. #Turkey, #Andorra & #Monaco are all #countries that have #customs #unions with the EU. None of them are in the #SingleMarket, the #eurozone, the #SchengenArea or #EFTA. Better, by far, to re-join the EU!

Our #Brexit #negotiators were told, repeatedly, by Michel Barnier for the #EU when they wanted 3 out of the 4 freedoms -#freedom of #movement for #goods, #services & #capital, but not #free movement of #labour - that it was all 4 freedoms or none of them. The #SingleMarket isn't an à la carte #menu, but a set one! When will our STUPID #politicians get that simple message through their thick skulls?
