It seems that no-one in the #LabourParty has learned anything from the farcical #experience of the #Tory years, & are apparently convinced that #Brussels will accept #British #membership of the #SingleMarket on the basis of free movement of goods, services & capital, but not labour. The #Tories were told it was all 4 #freedoms or none of them - why should #Burnham get a different answer?

He should know for a cast-iron fact that it's all 4 freedoms - or NONE of them! The #Tories wanted #free #movement of #capital, #goods & #services, but not labour, & were told they couldn't have their cake & eat it. The same rule applies!

The European #CircularEconomy Stakeholder Platform conference showed that circularity is an environmental imperative & a strategic necessity. It will only scale if it becomes a key part of the #SingleMarket.

The #SingleMarket isn't an à la carte #menu, but a set one! When will our STUPID #politicians get that simple message through their thick skulls?
