Most of today was spent sorting out the overwhelming mess which is my office. But now much has been cleaned up and furniture rearranged my new printer is no longer on a box on the floor. Tonight I completed the wiring checks and did the first power up. We have lights, and to my surprise an OS and Klipper pre-installed which has saved a whole load of work! Thanks #Siboor

@amd I have not looked at mods yet. Just working through the kit build instructions currently. This is a CNC metal parts AWD kit from #Siboor. What are the reasons you would recommend the inverted electronics mod?

I think I am hardware complete with my ERCFv2 build. The electronics were a struggle. Definitely the weak point in the otherwise excellent #Siboor kit. Like many people mentioned on the Siboor Discord, the 8 microswitch flexible PCB is badly soldered. I had to resolder 4 switches, only managing to fix 2, needing bodge wires for the other 2 to get all 8 working. LEDs needed custom wiring too, and custom mounting parts. There is way more wiring than can fit into the electronics enclosure.

My birthday present finally arrived. It came in two boxes, each one larger than I imagined the whole thing would be. Looking forward to building this! #voron #siboor #trident #3dprinting
