I think i spent months, maybe years, in this old/new mastodon instance posting about shibari and workshops without a single picture.
A mix of laziness, not being online so much anymore and maybe not wanting to feed the "engaging" mindset.
Today i post what we did at my last sunday's rope workshop.
We wanted to do bamboos, and not think in patterns, so how to think about structure and putting things in place in a sound and painless way, but away from patterns and cooking recipes. A lot of anatomy white magic (aka taking the time to behold how people's bodies are indeed different)
I don't like when things are or look unnecessarily complicated, or bamboos have no function and are just randomly floating around (spoiler: a function could be adding beauty, pain, tension, relief, absurdity, and all those live in the eye of the beholder).
Actually my tying is usually messier. I try a cleaner style for clarity when teaching.
