amongst the #WorldHeritage places in the #Ukraine is the antique city Chersones/ Chersonesos, founded around 2500 years ago
Located on the #CrimeanPeninsula, the ancient site is explicitely recognized by @UNESCO as #CulturalHeritage of Ukraine.
"Chersonesus's ancient ruins mix influences of Greek, Roman and Byzantine culture... an important representation of Byzantine life."

On the future #WorldHeritage list of #Ukraine is #Akkerman or "WeiΓenburg" - today called "Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi " at the North-East coast of the #BlackSea.
Originally founded as #Tyras by Greeks in the 6th century BC , it has quite a colourful #history with many different names...ππΌhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi
fortunately, this #CulturalHeritage site has not been destroyed through the #war
