Heading to the beach this weekend? A High Surf Advisory will be in effect with dangerous rip currents and strong longshore currents. High surf will allow for waves to make it further up the beach than they typically do...never turn your back to the ocean! Swim near a lifeguard if you must go into the water. Surf will be anywhere from 4-7 feet for most beaches, up to 8 feet for south to southwest facing beaches.
