    My newly resurrected rig: unguyed truncated (no 40m) #DXCommander and elderly #Sgc2020 seems work. Running SSB 10W I get 59 from 700/1000 miles into Europe on 17m from here in Cornwall - extreme SW of UK.
    Take off is good all round except to SW, and sea is only 800m away to North.
    How do I get further? #DX

    Been off the air since we sold our boat some years back. Nothing like the low noise floor of a sailing boat well offshore with everything shut down!

    Now putting together #DXCommander fan #vertical to use with elderly #SGC2020.

    Very rural village-edge location with reasonable take off, so high hopes....

    10m 20m 40m SSB to start then CW when skills improve.
