Finished my DX Commander Signature 9 and so far it’s performing well. Just need to do a tuning tweak, add the heat sharing and button it down for the winter. #hamradio #DXCommander

Although I do sometimes get European hits on 10m, it seems more often it’s like this, where ALL the 10m stations I hear are Central & South America. Is this what you other midwest hams see? Or should I consider moving my #DXCommander vertical?

There’s a #HamRadio YTer who makes antennas with ribbons of #FaradayCloth And LTA makes inflatable masts up to 60’. If I win the lotto, I’m building a #DXCommander that goes up in 6 minutes, & never has tangled element wires.

Did some testing of my new #DXCommander carbon fiber pole with my #PackTenna 20M raised about 9’ in the air. Super solid almost 1:1 SWR and no #rfi issues that I could tell.

This seems a long way off...The 10m element is 2.5m long. Has 20 surface lying radials. Is fed through rg213.
SWR indicated my LED bar on transceiver.
Any thoughts about what's going on?

Radials down: 20 various lengths 2, 4, 5, 8 metres to fit the space. Mostly around 5 m.
Grass and clover meadow mixture now showing nicely.
PL 259 plug on this afternoon when it's drier.
