I don’t care if you’re a pacifist or plain anti-war like many of us are, but when a individual signs up there is a life-long duty of care responsibility that the employer (the Commonwealth) must assume. A soldier give us his life when he signs up, unconditionally, Our luck is that it is rarely taken, but it does happen (even in peacetime). A similar commitment to look after veterans’ health must also be **unconditional** IMO. Shame on the #NeoLiberal #Austerity measures that places such a low price on a soldier’s life.
