  1. The Weight of Wonder

Two nights before leaving for the Pacific Northwest, I find myself surrounded by wrinkled itinerary pages, hiking gear, and a dream I’ve carried for nearly half my life. What begins as a story about planning slowly becomes something much deeper: learning that simply standing in the place you’ve longed for can matter more than finishing every mile.

  2. Yesterday, I Needed Quiet

For the past few weeks, I’ve been sleeping more than I have in a long time. I’ll wake up only to fall back asleep again. Projects I’ve been excited about sit untouched. 4. 241 Days Later

For so much of the last week, I have been focused on what felt broken. The Body Dysmorphia. The RSD. The exhaustion. Monday reminded me that while those things may always be part of my story, they are not the whole story.

  5. Jewellery & the senses: smell is incredibly important for us, and so it comes as no surprise that it also forms part and parcel of jewellery! Jewellery and scent are closely connected: many jewellery pieces contain fragrance one way or another.

But that aspect is often overlooked, simply because fragrance disappears after some time...so how are we to remember this beautiful capacity of jewellery?

That is the topic of the next installation of my Jewellery & The Senses blog range! After Sight and Touch, this blog dives into the world of Smell!
