We're about to have a pretty bad cold snap, and the furnace in our unit is having a difficult time keeping up.
(Turns out, other units in our building are having the same issue. We're in a 100-year-old converted 3-flat, and when the apartments were updated shortly before we moved in, the landlords put in furnaces designed for smaller spaces.)
Izzy is an old man kitty—somewhere between 17 and 18 years old—and keeping him warm is important for his achy bones. I've just ordered an electric heating pad to help him out. :meowhearthug:
If you're inclined to toss a tip or two my way, I'd be grateful. I'll do anything for my feline best friend, but I really don't have paydays coming up until after the new year.
