Contemporary labour practices seem calculated to ensure that there will be no one capable of doing the job in a generation's time. The "mini rooms" GRRM writes about here are an example, but we've been seeing it in academia for years with the increased use of casual labour.

Book Dash hubs are in-person, remote, or hybrid events linked to the virtual week of Book Dash. We have previously hosted and supported hubs in London & Bristol (UK), Amsterdam (Netherlands), & Asia-Australia (regional), & Americas (regional).
Support for local hubs will be developed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the context and support required. By default, we offer support for connectivity, child care, and accessibility to participants. #nomoa
