Mr Swayze has gotten quite fond of the little window seat I improvised some time back, especially now in the summer when I leave the window open a crack so he can better enjoy all the neighborhood comings and goings.

My idea was to train Minos to walk in a harness (which he hadn't done before), but no training was needed! He's as easy and obedient to walk with as a well-disciplined little dog! 😺

Mr Swayze seems to be paying the local fireworks sound effects little attention. Fortunately, even though unbeknownst to me there was a fireworks show barely a mile away from my home, the sounds have been fairly muffled so far, for which I am relieved.

Nico ist 13 Jahre alt und seit 6,5 Jahren bei uns, er war vorher im Tierheim.
In seinem alten Impfpass steht, er wäre ein Maine Coon, aber dazu hat er einen zu kleinen Kopf, zu wenig Kinn und zu kleine Ohren - wohl eher ein Mischling.
Er ist ein sehr vorsichtiger, unsicherer Kater, aber ein richtiger Kuschelbär, wenn er Vertrauen gefasst hat. Er kann außerdem sehr laut schreien 🤪
Er hat die größten, schärfsten Krallen ever, und sie nicht immer unter Kontrolle. -

Dieses fast unsichtbare Tier auf der Treppe heißt Brady. Er ist 12 Jahre alt und seit 7 Jahren bei uns, er wurde von privat abgegeben.
In seinem alten Impfpass steht, er wäre ein Maine Coon, aber dazu hat er zu kurze Beine und einen zu kurzen Schwanz - wohl eher ein Mischling. Vielleicht mit einem Dackel 😬, das würde auch seinen Charakter erklären.
Mehr Hund als Katze, deutlicher Anteil Kasper, viel Unsinn im Kopf. Außerdem tiefenentspannt. Und Hausmeister.
